× Puppetmongers Theatre

Bed & Breakfast

Recommended for families, aged 5 and up

A magnificent, intricately detailed dollhouse is the stage for the cast of tiny puppet royalty and their servants in this delightful, feminist variation on The Princess and The Pea. Children are intrigued by the captivating detail – tiny working period light fixtures and a steaming bathtub – while being transfixed by the power of make-believe.

Laced with Puppetmongers’ inimitable humour and delightful storytelling, and with a plot featuring entitled royals, an upstairs/downstairs romance, an epic journey and inter-generational misunderstandings, this is a tale with a heart-warming resolution that appeals to all generations.

Performers/Puppeteers: Ann Powell and David Powell
Directed by: Sue Miner
