I Am Here is an audio-visual, theatre creation by Gina Lori Riley in collaboration with several cross-disciplinary artists. The work communicates through a single, masked character as ‘Man-Woman’ and a physical genre that includes digital art and video projections, music-soundscapes, and poetic word. I Am Here explores the comedic and tragic aspects associated with aging and questions the socio-political values placed on youth and beauty.
